This wedding photoshoot was a dream come true. Emilië and Kristian got married on a beautiful sunshine day in June in Oslo, Norway.
The day started at the Oslo City Hall, where we had a beautiful couple shoot (in between adjusting boutonnieres and sipping hot coffee). I had never seen a more exquisite city hall! A short ceremony with only their closest family and friends in attendance was preceded by celebrations with a larger group of friends from across the continent.
For the afternoon we departed by ferry to Gressholmen, a small island on the fjord. In between the celebrations at Gressholmen Kro we slipped away for a short hike to take some more couple photos. These are some of my favourite wedding photos ever! A bride hiking up some hills and picking her way through some shrubs? Yes please!
The evening party ended back on the main land at Smelteverket. Here the couple let down their hair and danced until the sun came up (well, it never really went down).
I was so in love with E & K's attention to detail. Emilië made her own wedding dress. Their flowers were made by a local florist at Studio Markblomst and their wedding bands were made by Gjone.
